#EducationMonitor: Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan Chairs Ericson Mokayi’s Book Launch, Oct. 11

The immediate past Nigeria’s president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has been tipped to chair the official launch of the 60-paged book titled: ‘What Next After NYSC’ co-authored by Afemai-born Mr. Ericson Mokayi and Mr. John Bello both from Igarra, the headquarters of Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, South-South Nigeria come Saturday, 11th October, 2018 at Abuja.

Confirming this to AfemaiToday at Igarra during his courtesy visit to ADTI Haven, the temporary office of Afemai Development & Transformation Initiative (ADTI) last Friday, Mr. Ericson Mokayi, the chairman, Foundation for Advancement of Technical Development (FATD) explained that the prestigious book was meant to guide young graduates on enterprenuership.

According to him, the publication is a step-by-step guide to post-service entrepreneurship and a motivational book for young graduates to think of what they can do for Nigeria and not what Nigeria can do for them.

Also expected at the historic book launch, according to Mr. Mokayi, include Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, the chairman, Strategy Planning Team, Edo State Government as guest speaker; General Yakubu Gowon, Nigeria’s former military head of state as father of the day; Chief (Hon.) Bankole Balogun, the Oteniete of Igarra and a revered politician; Mr. Simpa Asishana, the chairman, Asjam Guest House, Igarra; and a host of other crème-de-la-crème in the society.

The foreword of the book is written by Dr. Tom Adaba, the former director general of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
